I’m a guitarist, composer and teacher I earned a master at the Musicians Institute (GIT) di Los Angeles, studying with guitarists such as Scott Henderson, Allen Hinds, Ross Bolton, Carl Verheyen, Pat Martino, Rick Zunigar, Robben Ford, Sandro Albert, Mike Landau e Frank Gambale.
My experience in Los Angeles was decisive: living daily within the Californian music scene allowed me to engage with different cultures and styles, refine my rhythmic sensibility, and explore live performance as a space for research and dialogue with other musicians. Beyond lessons, jam sessions and workshops were a crucial part of my growth, consolidating my artistic path and my idea of music as a universal language.
I graduated from the UM Academy in Rome, where I studied with some of the most important Italian jazz musicians, deepening my knowledge of modern harmony, improvisation, and the language of jazz. During those years, I trained in a stimulating environment that allowed me to connect with the Afro-American tradition and develop a personal approach to the guitar, able to move naturally between theoretical rigor and expressive freedom.
I’ve worked as a session player for streaming platform productions, documentaries,Tv,
short films, and I’ve performed live in some of the clubs across European capitals and Los Angeles, bringing to the stage a sound that blends rock, jazz, and cinematic influences.
As a composer, I have released four original albums, some of them recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Allen Hinds, with the collaboration of musicians such as Jimmy Johnson, Jimmy Haslip, Jimmy Earl and Land Richards. These works reflect my pursuit of balance between technique, sonic exploration, and musical storytelling.
Alongside my artistic work, for over twenty years I have been leading the
Total Electric Guitar
course, dedicated to guitarists of all levels who wish to develop a personal and conscious vision of the instrument. The program places great emphasis on melodic and rhythmic development, understood as the ability to give shape and direction to musical expression. Central to the course is the work on phrasing and musicality: balancing pauses and accents, dynamics and intention, transforming the guitar into a true storytelling voice.
The course also offers an in-depth exploration of the styles of major rock, blues, funk, and jazz improvisers, analyzing their languages and highlighting the common traits that connect them. The goal is to understand the relationship between tradition and modernity, developing a broad and personal expressive palette, and providing concrete tools to build an authentic and evolving musical identity.
